Cookie Policy.
Effective October 9, 2026.
The public Quoturn website uses Cloudflare’s essential bot-protection cookie and a session preference to remember when you dismiss its notice. It does not use optional advertising or analytics cookies. The separate private workspace also needs its own authentication service.
1. How this website uses storage
Cookies are small values a website can store in a browser. Similar browser features include local storage and session storage. This policy covers the public website at Quoturn.net and explains the boundary with its separate private workspace.
We do not install advertising pixels, cross-site advertising cookies, optional analytics SDKs or session-replay tools on the public website. The website uses system fonts already available on your device and does not request Google Fonts.
The website notice is informational. Dismissing it does not grant marketing permission or turn on optional tracking. There is no “accept all” choice because the public website does not offer optional tracking categories to accept.
2. Storage and provider functions
- Notice preference: after you dismiss the notice, the website writes
quoturn-cookie-notice-v1to this site’s browser session storage. Its purpose is to remember the dismissal during that tab’s browsing session. It contains no contact details or advertising identifier and is not sent to the server. Browser session restoration can retain session storage; clearing site data removes it. - Cloudflare bot protection: the hosting infrastructure sets
__cf_bmto help distinguish automated traffic and protect this website. Cloudflare describes it as necessary for its bot-protection service and gives it an expiry of 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. It is managed by Cloudflare and is not an advertising cookie. Read Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for its purpose and processing details. - Other provider functions: hosting infrastructure processes requests needed to deliver and protect the site. Provider-managed security or authentication storage operates under that provider’s controls. This policy does not claim to list cookies a browser extension, another website or a separately authenticated provider may create.
- Separate private sign-in: choosing Sign in opens the private Quoturn workspace and its ChatGPT authentication service. Essential login or security cookies may be used there to establish an authorized session. Those provider domains have their own notices; a public-site notice dismissal does not authenticate you or grant workspace access.
The notice still works if session storage is unavailable, but its dismissal may not be remembered. Blocking necessary authentication storage can prevent the separate private workspace from signing you in.
3. Links and server records
Not every record created by using a website is a cookie. Submitting a walkthrough saves the information you send in the website database. Private estimate submissions and contact-link activity can also be recorded on the server, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Contact-link activity is associated with the individual link, not an advertising cookie. A security scanner can open a link, so recorded activity is not proof of human contact, a booking or payment. Dismissing the notice or clearing browser storage does not delete server records.
If you select an external map, booking, website or email link, that service may use its own storage. Its own privacy and cookie information applies after you leave Quoturn.
4. Your choices and future changes
You can clear site data or control cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Clearing the notice preference makes the notice appear again. To ask about information held on the server, use our privacy request guide or email team@quoturn.net.
If optional analytics or advertising storage is introduced later, this policy and the website controls must be updated before it is enabled. Where consent is required, optional storage must remain off until that choice is given, with a clear way to decline and later withdraw it. This notice does not pre-authorize future tracking.
The effective date above identifies this policy version. See our Privacy Policy for data uses, providers, retention and other choices.
